Paul Simon, Stevie Wonder, Sting, Tina Fey To Appear At Children’s Health Fund Celebration

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Children’s Health Fund, co-founder Paul Simon is putting together an impressive lineup for for a big concert at New York’s Radio City Music Hall on October 4.

Simon is on the bill with his wife, singer-songwriter Edie Brickell, and they’re not the only husband-wife duo on the lineup. Also listed are Tina Fey and her husband (and 30 Rock music composer) Jeff Richmond, Sting and Trudie Styler, Amy Grant and Vince Gill, Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson, and James and Caroline Taylor. Stevie Wonder is on the bill with his daughter Aisha Morris, and Steve Martin is going “stag,” appearing on the lineup solo.

Proceeds from the show benefit Children’s Heath Fund programs across the United States, and tickets go on sale to the general public tomorrow (September 11) at 10 am ET.

The Children’s Health Fund was founded in 1987 by Paul Simon with pediatrician/child advocate Irwin Redlener, MD.  The organization provides “comprehensive health care to the nation’s most medically under-served children through the development and support of innovative primary care medical programs and the promotion of guaranteed access to appropriate health care for all children,” according to it’s website.
